4 weeks How to play copper stocks? Reddit

I’m looking to invest in copper. I am an electrician and the price of everything is going through the roof. I’ve heard news of copper miners stopping production, I think it’s because of covid.

The etf on copper seems high right now. So I have a few questions on what I should do. First, if mining has stopped what will that do to the stock? If it does drop it’s a no brainer try to buy the bottom. But, could it possibly go higher as the demand for copper is still high even with inflated prices?

I guess I really would like some insight to what the future price movement could do and why. I could see both scenarios playing out, but I’m pretty new to investing and I am complexed about the current situation.

Thanks in advance.
