6 days What are your genuine thoughts on day trading? Reddit

A lot of people say most people will fail, but what about the risk management? I’m curious to know how many of you day trade, what your risk management looks like, and if you’re profitable or not.

Everyone I ask IRL about day trading always say it’s a bad idea, but they’re not traders. I’m wondering if this is just a common misconception among the average person and if day trading is actually profitable with those who take risk management into account.
