2 weeks Why does splitting stocks have such a positive impact? Reddit

Articles like the above seem to say that splitting stocks are a positive thing because it attracts more retail traders but is it really all there is to it? I’m curious as to if there is any insider influence on this as well since companies like Microsoft have been splitting stocks way before retail trading became popular. From what I’ve observed ai readings here, there is an eerie pattern in positive and unrelated news articles regarding Apple right before the announcement of it splitting stocks. Something feels off. Fellas, am I just being retarded, or is it really the split that pushed the price all the way up?
